Job summary

Databricks seeks a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead the most complex customer engagements, driving consumption strategy and executive-level relationships. You will serve as the definitive technical authority for accounts with deep expertise in data, AI, and enterprise architecture.

You will mentor junior SAs, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and develop competitive strategies to align technical decisions with business outcomes and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or a senior customer-facing technical role.
• Expert-level coding proficiency — Python, SQL, and ideally Spark/PySpark.
• Deep enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, real-time streaming, lakehouse patterns.
• Executive presence to influence Directors, VPs, and C-level stakeholders on data/AI strategy.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical and consumption strategy for the organization’s most complex customer engagements.
• Own senior-level technical relationships — advising on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead complex architecture engagements across multi-workload platforms and migrations.
• Mentor junior SAs (L3–L5) and contribute to field engineering thought leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
