Job summary

Databricks seeks an expert Solutions Architect (L6) to lead its most complex customer engagements, shaping consumption strategies and executive-level relationships. You will own technical authority, drive platform adoption, and mentor others across teams.

Responsibilities include leading architecture engagements, developing competitive strategies, and contributing to thought leadership while collaborating with field engineering to accelerate real-world AI and data solutions.

Qualifications

8+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical roles.
Expert-level coding in Python, SQL; Spark/PySpark; live coding assessment.
Deep enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, streaming, lakehouse, data governance.
Executive presence to influence Directors, VPs and C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Drive consumption strategy and platform adoption for complex customers.
Own senior-level technical relationships as trusted advisor on data/AI strategy.
Lead the most complex architecture engagements across multi-workload platforms.
Mentor junior SAs (L3–L5) and contribute to field engineering thought leadership.
