Job summary

Amazon’s eero team in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to drive cloud and networking solutions for the mesh WiFi analytics platform. You will design cloud-based architectures, integrate with customer systems, and lead technical discussions with partners, leveraging REST APIs and data-as-a-service delivery.

Our team builds products that customers love — from mesh routers to high-performance wired networking devices — and we're looking for you to join us in shaping the future of the connected home. eero is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to drive integration and implementation of technical solutions and cloud architecture for the management of our mesh WiFi analytics platform. This role combines deep cloud expertise with networking knowledge to design and implement scalable solutions for our customers and B2B partners. You'll work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, and wifi to deliver exceptional customer experiences for our growing list of partners.

Key job responsibilities

• Design and architect cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services to support eero's cloud-based management platform


• Lead technical discussions with customers and partners, presenting complex architectural solutions based on our REST APIs and data as a service delivery systems


• Develop integration solutions between eero's platform and customer systems using modern APIs and cloud services

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience


• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent


• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies


• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with end user or developer communities


• Knowledge of core internet technologies, including DHCP, DNS, mail transport, TCP/IP, and network file systems


• Experience with distributed systems at scale


• Experience taking a leading role in building complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully delivered to customers


• Experience with big data platforms like Apache Spark and Hadoop


• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages


• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipeline implementation


• AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
