Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our ISV Team in the San Francisco area. You will work with customers to optimize AWS cloud capabilities, helping software companies accelerate their global innovation journey and drive mutual success.

You will own the technical relationship, guide architectural discussions, and craft cloud-native reference architectures for data and analytics use cases, enabling customers to scale on AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with customers providing technical advocacy as they build and enhance their products on AWS.
• Participate in deep architectural and design discussions with customers to create world-class solutions built on AWS.
• Work with customers to understand business needs and provide prescriptive guidance on how to leverage AWS technologies.
• Formulate and execute a strategy to drive adoption of AWS services within customer's platform.
• Author and contribute to technical publications such as whitepapers and proofs of concepts that highlight AWS.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals at our customer to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Drive successful outcomes for both AWS and customers through technical enablement.
