Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the growth of the Unified Analytics Platform. You will guide customers through architecture, proof-of-concepts, and integrations with cloud services, while building champions and trusted advisor relationships.

Expect collaboration with sales, product, and post-sales teams and travel within your region. You will leverage Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Koalas, with a focus on data engineering, analytics, and ML.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in at least one: Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
• Experience supporting Public Sector clients.
• Built solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Data Engineering technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS).
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how the company can help solve their business problems.
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt the company’s platform.
• Consult on big data architecture, proof of concepts, and data science/machine learning projects.
• Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demos for customers.
• Promote the company’s open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Koalas) within developer communities.
• Travel to customers in your region.
