Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Solutions Architect to guide customers in leveraging the Unified Analytics Platform for data and AI initiatives. You will sharpen your skills on open-source projects such as Apache Spark, MLflow, and Delta Lake to advocate lakehouse concepts across cloud providers.

In this customer-facing role, you will architect solutions, develop reference architectures, and collaborate with sales to build trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Data and AI solutions.
• Consult on big data architecture, implement POCs, and validate integrations with cloud services and 3rd party apps.
• Build and present reference architectures, technical guides, and demo applications.
• Provide escalated support for critical customer operational issues.
• Evangelize open-source projects like Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Koalas across communities.
• Support fellow Solutions Architects and drive cross-functional relationships.
• Travel to customers up to 30%.
