Job summary

Lumai Limited is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to own the technical heart of customer engagements for the world’s first optical compute inference platform. You will conduct deep technical discovery with hyperscalers, neo-clouds and AI labs, translating needs into Lumai-based solutions and mapping to current and roadmap offerings.

You will interact with ML engineers and leadership, author proposals, and guide benchmarking efforts.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or senior field engineering within AI infra or high‑performance compute.
• Strong working knowledge of AI inference at scale and deployment of LLMs.
• Familiarity with data center architecture: rack power, thermal, networking, and software integration.
• Proven ability to lead technical discovery and translate requirements into a Lumai-based solution.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving pre-product environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with Lumai’s BD lead.
• Conduct deep technical discovery with customer infra and ML teams.
• Translate customer needs into Lumai-based solutions, mapping to near-term and roadmap offerings.
• Define the shape of engagements — benchmark, PoC, reference architecture, or SOW.
• Work hands-on with Lumai's benchmark team to scope, run, and interpret benchmarks and present results.
• Produce the technical case for Lumai — proposals, solution documentation, and responses to RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.
• Design and deliver demos and technical workshops for customer technical teams.
• Feed customer feedback into product and engineering to influence the Lumai roadmap.
