Job summary

EY is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Americas Tax Technology Group in the US. You will design secure, compliant, and scalable AI-enabled solutions, leading agentic AI, multi-agent workflows, and AI governance across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with Architecture and Standards to craft production-ready architectures, influence technology choices, and drive tool orchestration, observability, and cost optimization in a complex tax technology environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of solution/enterprise architecture experience; management a plus.
Proven ability to articulate problems and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, API-first).
Experience architecting AI/generative AI solutions including multi-agent workflows.

Responsibilities

Ensure architecture aligns with business strategy and AI value realization goals.
Drive decision-making to balance performance, cost, risk, and delivery timelines.
Own solution architecture for products including agentic AI capabilities.
Define governance-driven deployment and change management processes.
Lead evaluation of build vs. buy with model/platform assessments and vendor due diligence.
Collaborate with SDL and BTL to shape AI delivery strategy and operating model.
Map business strategy to solution strategy and AI roadmaps.
Develop standards and reference architectures for reusable components.
