Job summary

Everforth ECS, the federal segment of Everforth, seeks a Solutions Architect in Fairfax, VA to lead AI/ML and Big Data/Cloud initiatives. This senior role requires strong leadership, deep software architecture expertise, and enterprise system integration across multiple teams.

You will coordinate hardware deployment, ensure system readiness before delivery, maintain IA compliance, and support ECS product development. Significant CONUS travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 7+ years’ experience or 10+ years with HS diploma.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to pass CI poly.
• 7+ years of related experience in AI programs within the IC.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level systems.
• Experience with OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience traveling frequently (CONUS).
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as hardware SME and coordinate deployment of hardware across locations and customers.
• Advise and support accurate inventory of equipment and site POCs.
• Ensure systems are tested, integrated, and fully functional before delivery; follow-up post-install.
• Track patches and maintain compliance with IA requirements.
• Report technical issues and troubleshooting activities to customers and stakeholders.
• Manage customer expectations regarding deployment timelines.
• Advise and support ECS product development and deployment efforts.
• Develop and maintain training standards for technical staff.
• Support growth initiatives within the Business Unit and ECS Enterprise.
• Provide knowledge transfer to team members and clients.
• Support cloud deployments of COTS or GOTS software leveraging OpenShift and other capabilities.
