Your Opportunity

At New Relic, we create interactive experiences to help customers visualize and explore application and customer data. We’re seeking a Solutions Architect to innovate and build solutions for telemetry sources, working within our Labs data practice. The role involves designing early-stage observability products for various industry verticals and use cases, requiring a full-stack developer with entrepreneurial spirit, rapid learning ability, and excellent communication skills.

What You'll Do

• Solve customer problems by designing and developing solutions to extend New Relic’s platform capabilities for telemetry acquisition.
• Collaborate across product teams to drive vision and support programmability in the platform.
• Develop business cases and go-to-market materials for Labs solutions.
• Promote Labs work through blogging and presentations.
• Lead customer engagements, onboarding, training, and enablement.
• Contribute to open source projects on GitHub.
• Publish work across New Relic properties, including marketplace, websites, and open source sites.

This Role Requires

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in Golang or similar languages.
• Knowledge of Java, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, PHP, Ruby, Python, C/C++ is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Technical background with client management skills and project leadership experience.
• Experience with monitoring technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Bonus Points

• Experience with observability tools (New Relic, Splunk, DataDog, etc.).
• Knowledge of open source observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, etc.).
• Experience with message frameworks, front-end frameworks, containers, automation, and CI/CD tools.
