Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise-wide solutions. You will define architectural direction aligning with business goals and guide complex system integration across platforms.

You will evaluate emerging technologies, enforce standards, and mentor staff while collaborating with senior leadership to shape IT strategy in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 12 years with an Associate degree; or 15 years with a High School diploma or equivalent.

• Defines and governs architectural direction based on organizational strategy, cost-effectiveness, and integration across complex systems and platforms.

Summary

• Provides strategic leadership in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-wide solutions.
• Defines and governs architectural direction based on organizational strategy, cost-effectiveness, and integration across complex systems and platforms.
• Leads the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with long-term business and IT goals.
• Establishes and enforces architectural principles, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Collaborates with senior leadership and cross-functional architecture teams to shape enterprise IT strategy.
• Regularly mentors architects and technical staff, drives innovation, and leads high-impact initiatives that span multiple domains and business units.
• Recognized as a subject matter expert with deep knowledge extending beyond core domains.
• Deep knowledge of payer systems (claims processing, eligibility/enrollment, provider data, utilization management).
• Strong expertise in integration technologies and standards (APIs, FHIR, HL7, X12 EDI).
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale system implementations and integrations.
• Familiarity with value-based care models, quality programs, and regulatory reporting (HEDIS, STARS, risk adjustment).
• Experience with enterprise data warehouse platforms and concepts.

Minimum Qualifications
