Job summary

Swisslog in Atlanta seeks a Senior Solution Consultant to design warehouse automation concepts, layouts, and capacity requirements, coordinating with clients and internal teams to define scope and interfaces.

You will develop data-driven proposals, review RFPs, travel to sites as needed, and ensure deliverables meet customer objectives and project timelines. This role emphasizes intralogistics expertise and effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse automation, intralogistics, supply-chain consulting, solution design or project delivery.
• Proficiency with Revit, design/data-analysis/presentation/collaboration tools.
• Willingness to travel to customers, reference sites and events as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer operations, business objectives, constraints, and decision criteria.
• Review available data, specifications, and RFP documentation.
• Identify missing or unclear information and coordinate clarification.
• Define key requirements, assumptions, scope boundaries and interfaces.
• Develop warehouse automation concepts, layouts, material flows, equipment strategies and capacity requirements.
• Evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions based on customer needs, feasibility, value and risk.
• Coordinate required analysis, calculations and validation activities.
• Prepare solution documentation and technical inputs for proposals.
• Collaborate with internal and external specialists on software, equipment, costing and execution considerations.
• Maintain ownership of assigned solution deliverables and dates.
• Support customer workshops and technical clarification.
