Qualifications

  • 15+ years industrial experience in warehousing automation.
  • Proficient in E-Plan and AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Travel 30-40% for project support and installations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple company projects with strong project delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and professionals across the project.
  • Develop solutions using company technologies with account management.
  • Create BOMs and support purchasing during the project.
  • Provide technical support to sales and assist in tenders and proposals.
  • Mentor and train peers; contribute to Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

Responsibilities Make an impactWe are searching for a self-motivated ElectroMechanical engineer with a proven record of excellent project delivery and experience to lead several company projects.

  • Network and collaborate with other engineers, technicians & professionals that are involved in the project
  • Possess knowledge & understanding of industrial standards and norms
  • Work within both hours & costing budgets to deliver safe and efficient products according to the project schedule
  • Developing project solution designs utilizing company technologies in partnership with the Account Management team and other parts of the business
  • Lead departmental & company strategic initiatives and provide guidance to those developing & carrying out the strategies & processes involved
  • Participate in site audits,subcontractor audits & inventory inspections before installation occurs
  • Creating Bill of Materials &support the purchasing process throughout the project
  • Provide company representation at both internal and external meetings
  • Support the Global Help Desk & Spare Parts department in responding to customer inquiries
  • Create and maintain good relations with customers and suppliers
  • Capable of developing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Provide technical support to sales department and assist in the preparation and presentation of sales tenders and proposals, including but not limited to hours estimation and estimation
Application Requirements What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
  • 15+ years industrial experience and experience working with the design and implementation of warehousing automation
  • Proficiency in E-Plan and AutoCad is essential
  • Knowledge and proficiency in other CAD systems are a plus, including AutoCAD Revit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Visio
  • Ability to travel, both nationally & internationally, 30-40% to support project work and installations
  • Able to understand wholistically the co-relation between the electrical, mechanical, controls and software system
  • Capable of understanding customers' operational processes and integrate it within the design effort
  • Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Significant experience in providing mentorship and peer-to-peer training in both formal and informal settings
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma is preferred
