Senior Solution Architect - SAP ERP Logistics Domain

Position: SAP Solution Architect – SAP Logistics Technical and Functional Expert

Location: Atlanta, GA - Locals only

Employment Type: Contract, Long term, Onsite

Overview

The purpose of this role is to lead and drive the design and development of technology solutions for SAP S/4HANA Brownfield transformation, with a special focus on the SAP ERP Logistics domain. This includes S/4HANA architecture, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Integration, SAP ERP ECC to S/4HANA data migration, SAP Analytics Cloud, and related platforms. The role provides thought leadership and strategic direction to influence the roadmap with value-generating initiatives. It also participates in shaping the business case, validating value drivers, and ensuring an optimal approach is envisaged.

Working with business stakeholders and internal and external development teams, the role ensures solution designs align with regulatory demands, architectural standards, business requirements, budgets, and IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Solution and Technology Architecture expertise with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including proven delivery of complex SAP S/4HANA transformation and SAP ERP ECC to S/4HANA data migration projects.
Experience in Enterprise Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and other integration methodologies, ideally in the SAP ERP Logistics domain, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Strong understanding and experience with SAP RISE architecture deployment on Azure (preferable).
Experience in designing data migration from SAP ERP ECC to S/4HANA using tools such as SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and SAP Data Services, with focus on data integration, data profiling, and data quality.
Experience with SAP Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) tools and methodologies for new S/4HANA implementation, selective data transition, and system conversion (highly preferable).
Strong understanding of S/4HANA database and optimization techniques.
Experience in developing API-based and Service-Oriented architectures.
Experience with architecture of mission-critical, high-transaction environments.
Experience with the full software development life cycle using traditional and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with experience in C-level stakeholder management; ability to work closely with other architects, business teams, and project teams.
Proven ability to recognize corporate strategy and translate business processes into IT solutions to achieve strategic goals.
Experience aligning business and IT, driving common approaches, and delivering sustainable, reusable enterprise architecture using both agile and waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant advanced degree is mandatory.
One or more certifications in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture (e.g., Well-Architected Frameworks, SAFe Architect, TOGAF, Open Certified Architect, ISEB Architecture).
Certification in SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA.
