Job summary

Phoenix Business, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Solution Architect to lead end-to-end functional architecture for enterprise SAP S/4HANA programs.

The role emphasizes Greenfield, Brownfield, and SDT implementations with a focus on standardization and transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will drive solution design across core SAP processes, manage workshops with stakeholders, and guide integration with SAP BTP and Fiori.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of SAP consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementations and transformation programs.
• Proven experience with RISE with SAP and S/4HANA transformations.
• Excellent understanding of cross-functional SAP integration and enterprise processes.
• Experience leading Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition projects.
• Solid knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and integration scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Define and design end-to-end functional solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA programs, including Greenfield, Brownfield, and SDT implementations.
• Lead functional solution design across SAP business processes and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Drive RISE with SAP transformation initiatives and provide architecture guidance throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct business and solution workshops with stakeholders, functional and technical teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA functional solutions.
• Define functional integration requirements between S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Fiori, and third-party/legacy systems.
• Collaborate with functional leads to ensure cross-module process integration and consistency.
• Review and govern solution designs, process flows, architecture documents, and integration specs.
• Identify opportunities for SAP standardization, simplification, and process optimization.
• Provide guidance on SAP best practices, Fit-to-Standard, SAP Activate, and S/4HANA adoption.
• Support data migration, business process transformation, testing, cutover, and go-live from a functional perspective.
• Lead solution discussions with senior stakeholders and provide architectural recommendations.
• Support presales activities, solution proposals, estimations, and client presentations when required.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, SAP best practices, security, and governance.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Solution Architect to lead end-to-end functional architecture and solution design for enterprise SAP S/4HANA programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, business process transformation, solution workshops, and functional integration across complex SAP landscapes.

Required Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of SAP consulting experience with significant experience in SAP Solution/Functional Architecture.

• Proven experience with RISE with SAP and S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and cross-functional SAP integration.
• Experience leading Greenfield, Brownfield/System Conversion, and Selective Data Transition projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard approach.
• Experience working with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and integration scenarios.
• Strong understanding of SAP functional architecture, process design, data migration, testing, and cutover.
• Experience working with global, enterprise-scale SAP programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
