Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Solution Architecture to lead delivery of complex, cloud-based solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will own end-to-end architecture, guide engineering teams, and influence key technical decisions in a global, client-facing role.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong software engineering background in at least two languages, and deep expertise in microservices, APIs, and multi-cloud design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience architecting and delivering large-scale cloud-native systems (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on in at least two languages (Java, C#, JS/TS).
• Deep expertise: microservices, event-driven, serverless, APIs, data architecture.
• Experience with AI/ML or LLM-based production solutions.
• Experience using AI-native tools to speed engineering.
• Ability to translate client needs into technical solutions.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent consulting, communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of technical solutions, ensuring quality and managing risks.
• Engage in delivery leadership, project management, and client interactions across all phases.
• Travel frequently to meet client needs and project requirements.
• Solve complex problems with proven methods and criteria.
• Influence policy and procedural changes with broad impact.
• Provide direction and feedback to teams, assist in hiring decisions.
• As a Software Architect, partner with leads to manage cloud implementations and serve as trusted advisor.
• Own end-to-end architecture from requirements to delivery and evolution.
• Lead engineering teams without direct authority and set standards.
• Stay at the forefront of modern technologies and bring them to the team.
• Ensure successful engineering delivery with hands-on involvement as needed.
• Document best practices into thought leadership and assets.
