Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Solution Architecture to drive delivery of complex cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will own end-to-end architecture, guide engineering teams, and shape strategic, technology-enabled business outcomes for clients.

You’ll engage with executives, manage budgets and timelines, and contribute to thought leadership while traveling as needed to client locations. EY offers a hybrid model and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a Master’s degree.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience architecting and delivering large-scale, highly distributed, cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including responsibility for architectural decisions, trade-offs, and outcomes.
• Hands-on experience in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Deep expertise in software architecture and design principles, including microservices, event-driven systems, serverless, APIs, data architecture, scalability, resiliency, multi-cloud, and security-by-design.
• Experience designing and delivering AI/ML or LLM-based business solutions in production environments.
• Experience using AI-native tools to accelerate software engineering outcomes.
• Ability to communicate with clients about business needs and translate that into a technical solution.
• High quality organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding consulting, communication, and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of technical solutions, ensuring quality and managing operational risks.
• Engage actively in delivery leadership, project management, and client interactions across all project phases.
• Travel frequently to meet client needs and project requirements.
• Solve complex problems using proven methods and evaluative criteria.
• Influence policy and procedural changes with potential broad business impact.
• Provide direction and feedback to teams, contributing to performance evaluations and the hiring process.
• Own end-to-end architecture from business requirements to delivery and evolution.
• Lead and influence engineering teams, setting architectural standards and guardrails.
