Ally Financial is seeking a senior architecture leader in Detroit to guide software development and infrastructure decisions. You will act as SME for planning, design, and delivery of technology solutions, while mentoring teams and aligning architecture with business strategy.

The role focuses on establishing architectural standards, leading cross-functional reviews, and communicating effectively with senior IT leaders to ensure scalable, secure solutions across the enterprise.

• Develop and drive the short and long term architecture strategy and portfolio needs for key business segments.
• Serve as an esteemed technical mentor to architecture and software development colleagues.
• Provide cost effective solutions that enable the business and maximize flexibility to integrate with other systems.
• Supports the development of architecture principles, styles, patterns and standards for systems across the business, translating corporate strategy into technical strategy.
• Lead cross-functional team to drive peer reviews, gain consensus, and finalize proposed solutions with all stakeholders.
• Communicate and validate architecture with executive IT stakeholders, architects, and technologists.
• Review legacy architecture, identify components strategically aligned for re-architecture, monitor technology usage for end of life cycle.
