Job summary

NTT DATA Services in Dallas, TX seeks a Solution Architect (Java, Cloud & AI) for a full-time hybrid role. You will design end-to-end enterprise architectures, lead cloud modernization across AWS/Azure/GCP, and define blueprints and integration patterns.

The role requires deep expertise in Java, microservices, AI platforms, security standards, and cross-functional leadership to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering or solution architecture, incl. 5+ years designing enterprise-scale solutions.
• 8+ years with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems.
• 4+ years delivering solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP using cloud-native services.
• 3+ years with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, IaC, and DevOps.
• 2+ years designing or integrating AI solutions with LLMs, generative AI, or vector databases.
• Strong experience with Kafka, API gateways, databases, caching, and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, IAM, encryption, RBAC

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for scalable, secure enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, and event-driven patterns.
• Lead cloud-native modernization and migration across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including containerization and platform transformation.
• Define solution blueprints, integration patterns, data flows, non-functional requirements, and architecture standards.
• Architect and integrate AI-enabled capabilities such as generative AI, intelligent agents, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Evaluate cloud services, AI models, and frameworks, ensuring scalability, latency, security, cost, and business fit.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, architects, developers, data teams, DevOps, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, POCs, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and mentoring.
• Ensure security, privacy, responsible AI, observability, high availability, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance.
• Define CI/CD, IaC, deployment, monitoring, logging, and production support for cloud-based Java and AI apps.
• Support estimations, proposals, architecture presentations, vendor evaluations, risk ID, and delivery planning.
