Job summary

State Street Investment Management is seeking a senior Solution Architect to design and enable hands‑on solution architectures across Investment Management, Product, and Client Experience. The role delivers end-to-end architectures, collaborates with POD teams and System Architects, and applies enterprise platforms and integration patterns to ensure scalable, consistent designs. The position emphasizes execution and delivery enablement in a cloud-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in solution or system architecture roles.
• Experience designing solutions in complex, multi-system environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures and enterprise integration patterns.
• Ability to work with Product, Engineering, and Architecture stakeholders in matrixed teams.
• Working knowledge of modern SDLC, DevOps, and Product-Oriented Delivery (POD) models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for assigned domains or products.
• Translate requirements into clear designs and architecture artifacts.
• Produce and maintain solution blueprints, diagrams, and documentation.
• Collaborate with System Architects and delivery teams to align designs with enterprise standards.
• Support POD teams with architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Apply enterprise platforms and patterns, promoting API-driven and event-driven integration.
