Job summary

Optum in Minneapolis is seeking a Director of Architecture to lead design of next‑generation contact center solutions for AI 10.0 and digital transformation initiatives. The role partners with business and technology teams to translate complex requirements into scalable cloud‑based designs.

You will drive cloud migration, SIP/telephony integration, and analytics, with hands‑on influence across architecture, engineering, and business partners, and you must be able to work in the office four days

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Solution Architect.
• 8+ years building SIP-based cloud designs (AWS) including security/operational best practices.
• 5+ years with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• 3+ years designing enterprise contact center solutions (voice/digital).
• 2+ years SIP solutioning (OCCAS), Amazon Connect or CCaaS integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud native services using AWS primitives (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, S3, EventBridge).
• Develop Amazon Connect integrations and call flows for data integration.
• Implement REST/event driven APIs linking Amazon Connect with SIP, bots, analytics.
