Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in design/mechanical engineering, or 10+ years tooling design.
• At least 5 years of 3D solid modeling experience in SolidWorks.
• Strong math skills and knowledge of drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, fixtures, gauges, and automation equipment for customer needs.
• Develop SolidWorks models, assemblies, and drawings per standards.
• Lead tooling concepts to improve efficiency, quality, ergonomics, and safety.
• Collaborate with project teams to define requirements early.
• Travel to customer sites to understand processes and model tooling.
• Support R&D by improving tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Lead mechanical design integration for tooling and automation systems.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, feasibility evaluations.
• Schedule tasks, report status, and document per Invio policies.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to meet performance and delivery goals.
