Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Project Manager for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects based in Austin, TX. The role owns office-based project management from Notice to Proceed through Commercial Operation Date and coordinates with field teams to ensure schedule and budget adherence.

The candidate will manage budgets, schedules, EPC/subcontracts, and reporting to leadership. PMP is preferred; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience in utility-scale solar, energy storage, or related construction.
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and EPC or major subcontracts.
PMP certification preferred.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

Lead office-based management from Notice to Proceed to Commercial Operation Date.
Own master project schedule and budget, with regular variance reporting.
Review and approve contractor invoicing, pay applications, and change orders.
Coordinate EPC and major subcontract administration.
Prepare project status dashboards and executive updates.
Closeout documentation and handover to Asset Management.
Support recovery planning for schedule or budget risks.
