Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee large commercial and municipal solar projects from contract execution through completion. The role requires coordinating schedules, budgets, and stakeholders across Connecticut, including utilities, municipalities, engineers, and subcontractors.

Based in Milford, CT, the position is 60% office-based and 40% on job sites statewide. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced construction

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, electrical construction, or utility-scale solar.
• Strong budgeting and cost control experience.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and municipal solar projects (rooftop, ground mount, carport) across Connecticut.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and establish execution plans.
• Develop and maintain project schedules (critical path, long lead items, utility coordination timelines).
• Coordinate with utilities for interconnection, witness testing, and approvals.
• Track budgets and monitor costs to ensure margin targets are met.
• Review subcontracts and vendor agreements; manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure design intent is executed.
• Oversee permitting and inspection processes; manage project billing milestones.
