Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical and structural design packages, including single-line diagrams, equipment specifications, and installation plans.
• Oversee project execution, providing technical guidance to construction teams and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Perform performance monitoring and diagnostics of operational solar power plants, identifying and resolving any technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, procurement specialists, and external stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in solar technology, grid codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in solar power engineering, with a strong focus on project design and execution.
• Proven expertise in PV system design software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• In-depth knowledge of photovoltaic technologies, inverters, battery storage systems, and grid interconnection requirements.
• Experience with project management methodologies and a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-oriented settings.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
