  • Overlay third-party designs/drawings against Trajectory's designs and diligence findings to ensure consistency with project requirements.
  • Maintain an organized and clearly documented set of project specific technical deliverables for solar, BESS, and solar + BESS projects.
  • Design projects according to the Trajectory Design Standards and train new employees on the standards.
  • Create energy models for distribution-scale solar arrays utilizing PVSYST.
  • Provide technical support to the Trajectory development team for the entire life cycle of a project including origination, interconnection, development, permitting, transactions, construction and asset management phases.
  • Participate in our continuous improvement environment, including tracking technical and product developments as they relate to solar and BESS designs, updating Trajectory's Design Standards, and improving training materials in relation to those standards.
  • Support management of outside engineering firms in development of project deliverables.
  • Perform site visits for project assessment and feasibility.
  • Develop proficiency in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable industry regulations (e.g., NFPA, UL9540), as well as state and local codes.
  • Additional duties as assigned and/or directed.
