Job summary

Cal Solar, Inc. seeks a Superintendent to oversee field operations on multiple projects in California, collaborating with the General Foreman, Foreman, and project team to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes proactive safety, coordination with clients and subcontractors, and accurate communication of field status to the Project Manager, with travel within Los Angeles/Orange/San Bernardino/Riverside counties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in commercial/industrial solar construction.
• Experience leading field teams and coordinating with GC/clients.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proactive safety culture and safe work environment on projects.
• Review and implement safety policies and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with client, GC, and subcontractors to meet critical path.
• Lead weekly FLT reviews and monitor production vs. budget.
• Ensure accurate field documentation and as-built updates.
• Oversee pre-mobilization planning and preconstruction coordination.
