Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Software Tester to support customer activities on a on-site Bethesda, MD location. The role requires a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and 10+ years of experience in software testing.

You will work with a team to develop and execute test plans in an AWS-enabled, Scrum-based environment, communicating requirements and triaging defects to drive improvements across systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Required Experience: 10+ yrs in software testing or quality assurance.
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI with active polygraph; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases with a team of testers and software developers.
• Perform black box and white box testing in an iterative Scrum environment.
• Coordinate with requirements and software development teams to confirm intended functionality.
• Develop test cases from requirements and document results.
• Triaging defects with developers and proposing system improvements.
• Create test data sets for system testing.
