Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Software Test & Verification Engineer for its Space Mission Systems group, supporting the Rocky program in Albuquerque, NM or El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on SIL/HWIL emulation with all-software test environments to accelerate development and ensure milestones are met.

The position requires a TS clearance, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and 3+ years in software test environments with strong C++, Java, Python and CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software test environments.
• Experience in software/hardware integration, emulation, and testing.
• Foundational CS knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and integrates software models to emulate hardware behavior.
• Partners with hardware engineers to identify requirements for emulation.
• Develops, automates, tests, integrates, and administers emulation strategies and technologies.
• Develops verification plans, test procedures and environments, executing tests for emulation technologies.
• Identifies, debugs, and resolves issues to ensure reliability of software products.
• Advises on software domains related to emulation and virtualized resources management.
• Implements technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations for hardware emulation.
