Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking Java Software Engineers – Developer (Experienced and Senior) to support the Advanced Ground Architecture team in Herndon, VA and other locations including Colorado Springs, Mesa, Seal Beach, and El Segundo.

You will design, develop, and maintain multi-tier Java-based software for space vehicle command and control, collaborating with systems and test engineers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with Java, C++, and frontend tech (HTML/CSS, Angular/React).
• Experience in cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software in Agile end-to-end lifecycle.
• Translates customer requirements into design and software products.
• Develops and enhances software for system integrations.
• Documents architectures, interfaces, and designs.
