Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of software test experience.
• Proficiency with Linux OS and terminal commands.
• Ability to read and navigate technical documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in teams.
• Fast learner who takes direction well and values team success.
• Willingness to handle raw meat for testing purposes.

Responsibilities

• Execute test processes, fixtures, and clinical simulation methods.
• Run protocols for clinically based simulation, automated testing, and functional verification.
• Create test plans, protocols, and reports with guidance from engineering teams.
• Participate in the product development lifecycle and review design documentation/UI prototypes.
• Learn software build steps to effectively execute, monitor, and troubleshoot.
• Evaluate instrument designs using measurement devices and inspection tools.
• Identify, reproduce, and elevate new or persistent software- or hardware-related failure modes to management and appropriate Engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and document all findings in the ISI bug-tracking database.
• Complete documentation of test protocols, results, and reports.
