Job summary

VT Group (VTG) seeks a Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications built with React, TypeScript, and Node.js. You will develop testing strategies, build automated tests, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires hands-on testing across React/TypeScript and Node.js services, strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent, high-visibility projects.

Qualifications

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Test React and TypeScript applications to validate functionality, user interactions, and expected behavior.
• Test Node.js server applications, including APIs, backend functionality, and application integrations.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Build and maintain automated tests using appropriate frontend, backend, API, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
• Use Git to manage test code and collaborate with development teams.
• Monitor testing progress, requirements coverage, defects, and readiness across multiple concurrent projects.
• Communicate testing results, risks, and project status to technical teams and stakeholders.
