Job summary

VTG seeks a Software Test Engineer to ensure quality of web apps built with React, TypeScript, and Node.js. You will develop testing strategies, build automated tests, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.

You will perform functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing, validate frontend and backend behavior, and track defects across multiple concurrent projects in Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI With Polygraph.
• Bachelor's Degree with atleast 5 years of experience required.
• Demonstrated experience in software testing, preferably with web applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Test React and TypeScript applications to validate functionality, user interactions, and expected behavior.
• Test Node.js server applications, including APIs, backend functionality, and application integrations.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Build and maintain automated tests using appropriate frontend, backend, API, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
• Use Git to manage test code and collaborate with development teams.
• Monitor testing progress, requirements coverage, defects, and readiness across multiple concurrent projects.
