Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to verify UI and backend quality for a government information system modernization. You will design test plans, perform functional and regression testing, and validate accessibility and security controls across Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities include API testing, SQL validation, log analysis, and integration with CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with developers, analysts, and security teams is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in functional and regression testing of UI web applications.
• Strong UI testing expertise including accessibility and cross-browser testing.
• Backend troubleshooting via logs, API validation and SQL queries.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and defect-tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for upgrades and features.
• Perform functional and regression testing of Java-based web apps.
• Conduct UI validation, cross-browser testing and accessibility checks.
• Execute API testing and backend log review; manage defects.
• Collaborate with developers, BA and security teams; document results.
