Job summary

J&T Business Consulting in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Software Engineer 3 Tester with active TS/SCI with Polygraph to lead automated testing for high-throughput C++ software. You will design, develop, and execute automated test suites, modernize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing, and collaborate with systems and hardware teams to ensure performance and interface specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 15+ years of software engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity, OR
• 19 years of relevant software engineering experience without a degree.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in C++, Python and Shell scripting.
• Demonstrated experience in CI/CD pipeline modernization and automated continuous testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and execute comprehensive automated testing suites and frameworks for complex C++ applications.
• Modernize and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated build processes and continuous testing workflows.
• Write robust test automation scripts and utilities using Python and Shell scripting.
• Validate software interfaces and integration points against hardware infrastructures including SDRs and lab servers.
• Lead software test efforts and establish software development process standards across teams.
• Confer with systems and hardware engineers to assess hardware/software trade-offs and interface constraints.
