Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a senior Software Engineer 3 Tester to lead automated testing for high‑throughput C++ software in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and hands‑on test development, plus CI/CD modernization and hardware/software integration with SDRs.

You will design and execute automated test suites, mentor teams, and ensure performance and interface compliance across lab servers and enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 15+ years software engineering on similar scope; or 19 years without a degree.
• Strong proficiency in C++, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Experience in CI/CD modernization and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with SDRs and enterprise test servers.
• Proven ability to lead software test efforts and enforce QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and execute automated testing suites for complex C++ apps.
• Modernize CI/CD pipelines to support automated build and test workflows.
• Write test automation scripts in Python and Shell.
• Validate interfaces with SDRs and lab servers against specs.
• Lead testing efforts and quality assurance across multi‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with systems and hardware engineers on trade-offs and interfaces.
• Author and review comprehensive test procedures and reports.
