Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to validate Sensor Fusion software used in advanced aerospace systems. You will analyze requirements, design comprehensive test strategies, and execute verification and validation activities to ensure reliability and performance.

You will develop automated and manual tests in C++, collaborate with Software, Systems, and Integration teams, and contribute to CI/CD and Agile processes to deliver high-quality capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of testing experience.
• Experience coding in C++.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software and system requirements to develop test strategies, cases, and validation plans for Sensor Fusion software.
• Execute software verification and validation activities to meet quality and performance requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases using C++ and support CI/CD.
• Collaborate with Software, Systems, and Integration & Test teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Support Agile development with test planning, defect tracking, and process improvement.
• Utilize tools including Linux, GitLab, Jira, and automated testing frameworks to improve quality.
