Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Software Test Engineer to validate software solutions deployed on AWS cloud infrastructure. You will perform functional, performance, API, and database verification testing while collaborating with developers and product teams to deliver robust systems.

The role focuses on regression test design, maintaining test plans, and advancing automation with a fast-paced, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship with active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
5+ years in software testing and quality assurance.
Experience designing test strategies in Agile environments.
Hands-on API testing and database testing with SQL.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira and Bugzilla.
Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python or JavaScript).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Complete various types of software testing for system updates.
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated regression test cases.
Identify, document, track, and advocate for defects resolution.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test cases, and testing reports.
Ensure test coverage and adherence to project requirements.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices development.
