Job summary

Makpar is seeking a Software Test Engineer III to lead QA activities across the SDLC for ICAM applications. You will ensure changes are tested in non-production environments before promotion, balancing automated and manual testing within a CI/CD pipeline.

The role requires experience with Selenium, Jenkins, and SonarQube, and validating accessibility (Section 508) for releases. DHS access and security credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing software QA across the SDLC.
• Experience mixing automated and manual testing.
• Experience developing and maintaining test plans, scripts, and results.
• Experience testing in non-production environments before release.
• Experience with Selenium or comparable automated testing tool.
• Experience with Jenkins or CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with SonarQube or code-quality tools.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and release testing.
• Ability to obtain favorable DHS EOD, suitability, and system access.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform QA across the full SDLC.
• Validate changes in development, test, staging, or other non-production environments.
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases, scripts, and data.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain testing gates using Selenium, SonarQube, Jenkins, and related tools.
• Validate functional requirements and user-story acceptance criteria.
• Perform regression, integration, system, performance, and release testing.
• Validate Section 508 accessibility for releases containing applicable UI functionality.
• Identify defects, document results, and coordinate with engineers for resolution.
• Review security scan and code-quality results for release readiness.
• Monitor test coverage and suggest improvements to automation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing when required by the federal customer.
• Produce test plans, scripts, results, defect evidence, and release docs.
• Support production incident analysis by validating fixes and impacts.
