Job summary

SGS Consulting in Texas seeks an experienced software test engineer to join our Agile team and strengthen software quality across the lifecycle. You will review requirements, craft test plans, and develop comprehensive test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Qualifications

5+ years of manual or automated software testing within Agile frameworks.
At least 2 years in areas such as Windows Server testing and automation.
Basic understanding of software development processes.
Testing in Windows Server environments and related tooling.
Usage of Python, PowerShell, Jenkins, Ansible, or Selenium.
Log analysis with Wireshark and virtualization (ESXi, RHEL-KVM).
Strong networking protocol knowledge and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate within an Agile environment to enhance software quality across the development lifecycle.
Engage in design and functional requirement reviews, including test plan development and presentation.
Create and maintain precise test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Partner with developers during design phases to ensure testability.
Advance automation efforts and adopt emerging testing technologies.
Demonstrate strong independent work ethic, teamwork, and communication skills.
Address automated testing gaps and create test cases.
