Job summary

Everfox in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking an experienced test engineer to provide technical leadership and architectural expertise for the UAM product suite. The role focuses on AI-assisted testing, automation, and integration across complex environments.

The candidate will work on-site 2–3 days per week and reside within about 50 miles of the office, with Everfox accommodating as required by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years software engineering experience, preferably with test automation emphasis.
• BS Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Information Security or equivalent work experience.
• Experience developing test automation tools and frameworks, including hands‑on use of generative AI automation accelerators.
• Extensive programming experience in Python, Linux Shell and Power Shell scripting; ability to integrate AI SDKs, embeddings, model inference APIs, and automation pipelines into Python based tooling.
• Strong software configuration, integration testing, and automation experience; knowledge of integrating model driven workflows into CI/CD and test orchestration systems.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to articulate AI assisted analysis and communicate responsible use practices aligned with Everfox AI metrics efforts.
• Willing to obtain Government Security Clearance if needed.
• A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: $142,600.00-197,100.00 USD.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document integration requirements with product owners and professional services, using generative AI to accelerate synthesis.
• Organize resources for setup and testing of products and integrations, using AI-powered planning and modeling.
• Define and author test cases and scripts for automation tools to CI/CD of product combinations.
• Execute test scripts, report defects, and perform AI-assisted log analysis and root cause hypothesis generation.
• Maintain regression tests and AI-augmented regression suites, including test impact analysis.
• Analyze results, confirm defects, and report metrics with AI-driven telemetry summaries.
• Collaborate with development to reproduce issues and create repro scripts and synthetic datasets.
• Increase coverage with AI-generated test scenarios, fuzzing, and boundary exploration.
