Job summary

Arcanys is hiring a Software Test Automation Engineer for remote work with international clients. You will drive automated testing using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, and Pytest while shaping test strategies and risk analyses.

With 4+ years in QA and 3+ years in automation, you will mentor junior testers and collaborate across diverse teams to ensure high-quality software releases and strong user experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years as a test engineer with at least 3 years in automation.
• Proficient in writing test cases using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Java.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Pytest.
• Test planning, creation and execution of test cases.
• UI testing experience in web or mobile projects.
• Experience testing in Docker environments and with Git.
• Experience working in Scrum or iterative development.
• Ability to mentor junior testers and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Test products before release to the market.
• Contribute to the full software lifecycle from QA perspective.
• Collaborate with international teams to refine features and tests.
• Create test plans and perform risk analysis.
• Design and write test cases to test and break products.
• Apply static, black-box and exploratory testing methods.
• Implement and run automated test scripts from manual tests.
• Introduce practices that improve test and product quality.
• Plan policies for integrating test automation into build processes.
• Recommend software improvements to enhance user experience.
