Job summary

HistoSonics, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead to run the day-to-day rhythm of empowered software teams, blending Product Owner and Scrum Master duties.

You will translate priorities into a concrete backlog and lead agile ceremonies to maximize value and quality. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Dev Leads, and Project Managers to align execution with engineering standards while driving continuous improvement and predictable delivery.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in software development or delivery roles.
• Experience as Software Engineer, Scrum Master, or Product Owner.
• Ability to operate as a technical contributor without formal people-management authority.
• Familiar with agile methodologies and facilitating ceremonies.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.
• Experience in medical device or regulated software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the team backlog with the Product Manager.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retros) and ensure clear goals.
• Monitor sprint progress, identify risks, blockers, and scope concerns.
• Track metrics like sprint predictability, backlog readiness, throughput, cycle time.
• Maintain backlog hygiene, prioritization, dependencies, acceptance criteria.
• Support delivery balance with quality and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Software Project Manager on milestones and risks.
• Coordinate with Dev Lead on technical sequencing and capacity.
• Coordinate with Functional Manager on people-related issues.
• Maintain stakeholder visibility into progress, risks, blockers.
• Foster ownership, transparency and continuous learning.
