Job summary

HistoSonics, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Test Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks.

You will ensure testability from requirements through to release, working with product and software teams to improve test coverage across unit, API/integration, and system levels. You will develop and execute automated and unit tests using frameworks like NUnit/JUnit/pytest, write test code to production standards, and participate in risk assessment and CI/CD integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Software Testing and/or other areas of the SDLC; experience testing medical device instrumentation and analysis software is preferred.
• Demonstrated software development experience in C#, Java, Python, or a similar object-oriented language, with the ability to design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test frameworks and test tools.

Responsibilities

• Interact with product development teams to understand testing objectives.
• Partner with design and software teams to influence requirements and architecture for testability.
• Extend automated test frameworks and reusable test infrastructure at unit, API/integration, and system levels.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within Agile/Scrum sprints.
