Job summary

Redhorse Corporation seeks a Senior Software Systems Engineer to serve as a technical authority tackling complex software and systems challenges. You will advance research, design, and deployment of data processing solutions supporting government missions.

The role requires deep expertise in low-level systems, SDLC, and modern cloud/container tech, with multi-disciplinary collaboration and mentorship of other engineers. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

Requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Over 8–10+ years in software systems engineering or related field.
Demonstrated ability to solve unusually complex technical problems.
Extensive full SDLC experience including research, design, development and debugging.

Responsibilities

Serve as a recognized technical authority for complex software and systems issues.
Lead research in design, development, testing, and utilization of software.
Design and develop applications integrating advanced mathematical solutions.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to plan data processing systems.
Determine user needs and analyze system capabilities to meet requirements.
Coordinate large-scale software system installations and monitor performance.
