Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Level4 Software Systems Engineer to lead GNSS/SBAS design and secure networking solutions. You will implement verification plans, coordinate across software, hardware, RF, and operations teams, and guide junior engineers in high‑reliability navigation systems for commercial customers.

The role requires expertise in security, system integration, and customer communication, with travel to ANZ sites and global deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a small network/siem design team with security focus.
• Proven ability to verify requirements and develop test plans.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead WAN subsystem design, cybersecurity requirements, and implementation plans for GNSS/SBAS.
• Perform requirements impact assessments and support verification activities.
• Coordinate across software, hardware, RF, electrical, and operations teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide GNSS/SBAS technical guidance.
• Communicate status, risks, and findings to customers and suppliers.
