Join a dynamic team working alongside the Senior Systems Analyst and Systems Architect to develop, configure, deploy, and maintain a specialized on-premises software system for the analysis of nuclear weapon effects. This container-based solution runs in Kubernetes and operates in a hybrid Linux and Windows environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, deploy, test, and administer Kubernetes-based container solutions across unclassified and classified environments.
Diagnose and resolve system and configuration issues affecting performance and reliability.
Collaborate with the systems administrator to troubleshoot complex operational challenges.
Partner with the US Government’s IT team to deploy Kubernetes-based containers within an on-premises cloud infrastructure.
Support the configuration of closed networks and firewalls, ensuring secure internal and external system access.
Required Qualifications:
Education: BS in Computer Engineering (12–15 years of experience) | MS preferred (10–13 years of experience)
Security Clearance: TS/SCI required
Technical Expertise:
Windows Server 2019
Building and maintaining container OS images
Deploying, managing, and debugging containers in Kubernetes clusters
Administration and troubleshooting of PostgreSQL and PostGIS databases
Applying security patches and enforcing security policy lockdowns
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ArcGIS Server & ArcGIS Pro
Familiarity with NGINX, Istio, Kafka, Keycloak, and Splunk
Note: This position is funded for three months, with potential for extension based on project needs and funding availability.
