Job summary

AMD in Austin, TX is seeking a Sr. Software Strategy Lead for the Client and Graphics unit.

You will define and drive long-term software strategy across a broad portfolio, interfacing with strategic customers and ecosystem partners to deliver sustained value for AMD and its partners. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating needs into strategic initiatives while maintaining a product-first mindset and deep understanding of Windows ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to define and influence long-term software strategy.
• Experience influencing multi-stakeholder initiatives across tech and business domains.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep understanding of client hardware and software ecosystems, especially Windows.

Responsibilities

• Define, own and evolve portfolio-level software strategy across the Client and Graphics product portfolio.
• Engage with strategic customers and ecosystem partners to shape and align software strategies.
• Own multi-year strategic planning for software enablement, including APIs and components.
• Drive alignment with Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Architecture, PM and Product teams.
• Communicate strategy and progress to executive leadership with data-driven updates.
