Senior Software Security Project Manager

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of project or program management experience supporting software engineering or cybersecurity teams.
• Proven experience managing Agile software development teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and shifting deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build strong relationships across technical and business teams.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Application Security or Cybersecurity engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Application Security technologies and practices, including:
  • SAST
  • DAST
  • MAST
  • Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
  • Secrets Management
  • API Security
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools.
• Understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe certification is a plus
