Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, application support, or production support in SaaS.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting across code, databases, and infrastructure.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL, and AngularJS.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, logging, monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and authentication/SSO.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Strong analytical thinking, technical ownership, and customer-impact problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own complex technical challenges: lead Tier 3 production support, diagnose escalated issues.
• Get hands-on with code: troubleshootRails/React/TypeScript and DB issues; implement fixes.
• Perform root-cause analysis across apps, DB, integrations, and infra.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and Support to improve reliability.
• Drive automation and AI-assisted tooling to streamline troubleshooting and support.
• Contribute to product evolution: modernize applications and migrate legacy tech.
• Become a technical expert on the company’s SaaS offerings and guide others.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve technical documentation and best practices.
